Pictures from our long weekend visiting my brother Charlie and Tünde in Budapest. We were very lucky with the weather given that it was late October. Most of the pictures on this page were taken on and around Castle Hill in the centre of the city.

Sheila's 60th

For her 60th birthday my Aunt Sheila rented Goddards, a large country house in Surrey. The house was a superb venue - it is around 100 years old and sleeps twelve, and has its own old fashioned skittle alley.
Sardinia

We had a great week at Chia in Sardinia. These photos were all taken on our favourite beach, which was next door to the hotel beach - we mostly had it to ourselves except for the local bunch of kite surfers.
Some of these were taken at nearby beaches which we drove to - usually when the wind changed direction!
The hotel (Le Méridien Chia Laguna) had a couple of good pools. There are also some pictures here from the boys' highlight of the week (not) - the Roman ruins at Nora.
Colin's 70th
