We first picked up the RV in Durham, North Carolina - and then covered 1,561 miles on our journey to Nashville via the Great Smoky Mountains, up to Bowling Green in Kentucky, across and down to the Cumberland Falls, and up again to the arches of the Red River Gorge - from there we went across to the New River Gorge in West Virgina, before returning to Durham via Virginia.
