A rather scraggy looking bison

We were there in off season

Tiny prickly pears hide in the grass

An unusual prairie plant

Giant dandelions were common

Prairie dogs were a frequent sight

Rob BBQing some prawns back at the RV park

This six foot long bull snake paid us a visit

After a while it got bored of being followed by a growing crowd and climbed a tree

This guy decided to yank it down. I didn't get any photos of the ensuing man versus angry snake battle, but he did eventually trap it in a fishing net before carrying it away from the RVs
