Big Cinder Butte
Smoke from a distant fire added to the atmosphere
It's easy to imagine the basalt solidifying from liquid in the not too distant past
This lava tube, known as Indian Tunnel, is illuminated by periodic holes in the ceiling
No torch was required as we walked its length
We walked the 800 foot length of the tube
